With your generous donations during Ramadan, we were able to provide two patients with prosthetic artificial limbs. Both of these patients had to have amputations on a leg after suffering injuries, and we are grateful that we were able to help them in this way
Medical Aid Projects
Medical Aid is not something that is always accessible, especially to those less fortunate. We may take our good health for granted, but for people born with or suffering from different ailments, it is a constant way of living for them. This is why People's Foundation aims to provide Medical Aid wherever possible
Prosthetic Artificial Limbs
Prosthetic Artificial Limbs provide those with amputations artificial limbs to replace those missing parts in order to mimic, replace, look and sometimes function as those missing parts. We were able to provide two patients, who had lost a leg due to on-going conflicts, with these artificial limbs. The funds also covered the cost of rehabilitation and some other medical costs. Now these patients have prosthetic legs which look and function to a degree of a normal leg, but does provide them with a lot more movement and freedom. Without the help and support of our donors these two patients may have been wheelchair bound for months, if not their entire lifetime, so we would like to extend our gratitude to all those who donated and the staff at the facility that carried out this life changing work
