People's Foundation started in 2015 collecting money from family and friends to help with charitable causes. We started on a strict 100% donation policy and have been operating on the same basis ever since guaranteeing that every single penny you donate goes towards the cause intended
Why we collect Admin Donations
Admin costs cover the day to day running of the charity as well as covering fees for various 3rd party organisations the charity may utilise. However, by operating on a 100% donation policy, we can ensure that only Admin allocated funds will be used to cover these costs and the full donation made to a cause will benefit the recipients
How we allocate Admin funds
The majority of our Admin allocation is received through Gift Aid claimed back on eligible donations made. Donors can also make specific payments to our Admin allocations such as on this page
Utilising Admin funds
As mentioned, Admin funds are used for the day-to-day running of the charity and to cover any other costs. However, we also utilise surplus admin funds by enhancing on-going projects and allocating extra funds to various projects
